Failure of Success

Posted in Uncategorized by K P Ramachandran on April 13, 2012

When we succeed in any venture or in any arguments, it need not be a success or happy situation for the other party. This is not a real success. Emperor Asoka  could not enjoy his success in Kalinga war. After seeing the miseries of the war He pledged that he would never wage another war in his lifetime. The results of the war were pathetic. He could not enjoy that success in the war. This was the failure of his success. Even in arguments, when our ego rules our actions , we enjoy our victory even if it hurts others. This is failure of success. Even in business terms what we need is not win situation, but a win – win situation where it will be success for both parties. That is the real success.
